2021 TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR AT YOUNG: POSTPONED

This weekend’s Transmoto 8-Hour at Young has been called off due to dangerous weather conditions. It will be rescheduled to next weekend, November 20-21, 2021.

The low-pressure system that swept across a widespread area of NSW over the past 48 hours has dropped more than 100mm of rain on the 8-Hour’s event site at Young, and this has rendered the pit area inaccessible, even for 4WDs.

The site access issues, coupled with the damaging winds predicted for both Saturday and Sunday, has left us with no option but to reschedule the event for participant safety reasons.

With months of work going into the track preparation and the event infrastructure here at Young ready to go, we’re as keen as you guys to tear into this amazing property, so running the event next weekend (in what is forecast to be much friendlier conditions for camping and riding) makes a lot of sense.

We understand this rescheduling may have a knock-on effect for some participants’ ability to attend. Further information will be released over the coming days, outlining your options as an existing Team, Pairs or Ironman entry.
