EVENT OVERVIEW
Cooby Dam is back for 2024! After a couple years of rest, it is time to bring back this epic property situated in the rolling hills of Queensland’s Darling Downs region, on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range. It’s only 30 minutes drive north of Toowoomba, two hours’ drive west of Brisbane, and home to big-horizon farming country.
The open spaces of the venue’s 3000-acre private property, situated near Cooby Dam, provides a big canvass for a flowing race loop that includes a variety of terrain – from undulating grasstrack to flowing firetrail to bush-lined singletrail to a unique section of rocky creekbed.
This epic venue also boasts a spectacular camping area – a huge, flat grassy pit paddock with a quaint old-school timber cottage at its centre that’ll be incorporated into the Event HQ. Being the one and only Transmoto event in Queensland, you won’t want to miss it.
CLASSES
IRONMAN Solo rider.
PAIR (2 RIDERS) Two riders riding in a tag team.
TEAM (OF 3) Three riders working in a tag team.
TEAM (OF 4) Four riders working in a tag team.
JUNIOR LOOP Non-competitive loop on Saturday for riders aged between 9 and 15.
LADIES LOOP Non-competitive loop on Saturday for female riders.
TEAM (OF 3/4) CATEGORIES
All Teams must enter under one of six ‘Team Categories’:
– Weekend Warriors (no rider to have ever raced professionally, no sponsor hook-ups or dealer support, and must have paid your own entry fee);
– Young Guns (all riders under 23);
– Wise Wizards (average age of at least 50);
– Mixed (at least one female rider);
– Wonder Women (all female riders); or
– Open (general team entry, if you’re not eligible for any of the above Categories).
Teams (of 3) and Teams (of 4) will be grouped together for the Class and Outright results, but entering in a relevant Team Category will increase your team’s chances of taking home a trophy.

Team (of 4): $1200 ($300pp)
Team (of 3): $975 ($325pp)
Pairs (2 riders): $700 ($350pp)
Ironman: $400
Junior Loop: $50
Ladies Loop: Included in entry fee if racing on Sunday, and $50 if not racing on Sunday and riding on Saturday only

Note: There are no split payments – the team’s entry fee and any additional costs must be paid in full during online registration. A 3% booking fee applies to online payments.
