What You Need To Know Before Hitting The Road
Thanks for signing up for the 2025 Transmoto 8-Hour at Miva Station, Qld, on May 24-25.
There are a couple things to tick off before you get to the event to make sure you are set and the weekend will run smoothly. Here are the details:
⚡️ Instead of signing-on in person, we use a pre-event online system we call, the Digital Sign-on. This is a mandatory requirement for all Riders and Non-Riders (family, friends, helpers for the weekend) to fill out to comply with Motorcycling Australia. This sign-on must be completed by 11:59pm on Thursday, May 15. Anyone who has not completed the Digital Sign-On won’t be permitted to enter the event venue. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.
⚡️ To get the rundown on everything from the event location, directions, schedules, bike and helmet scrutineering, what ID to bring, how the pit layout works, what trophies and prizes can be won, and a whole lot more, please read the Rider Info Guide.
Event Location:
The Transmoto 8-Hour is held on a private property (2106 Sexton Rd, Miva Qld 4570), which is about 60km northwest of Gympie and 65km southwest of Maryborough.
IMPORTANT: Due to recent changes to local roads (plus damage to the famous Dickabram Bridge on Miva Rd), please take the routes advised below from either Gympie or Maryborough – NOT the route Google Maps will take you (via Sexton Rd, which is a tiny back-country road that’s not in good condition!).
NOTE: We suggest you use Google Maps to navigate to the venue (Waze and Apple Maps tend to be less reliable in remote areas).
