2022 TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR @ STROUD: SHIFTED TO NOV 12-13

Due to severe rainfall in the NSW Hunter region since entries for the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud went on sale in late April (and promptly sold out!), the tough call has been made in conjunction with the property owners to reschedule the event (originally slated for June 18-19) to November 12-13.

Sadly, the absolute deluge of rain the 8-Hour’s host property has copped during the month of May has made the already saturated ground completely sodden, and conditions are now so bad that access to the property is expected to remain limited for several months. That has also meant it’s been impossible to get machinery into the venue to build the track (scheduled to begin last week) or even slash the pit paddock.

Those who’ve tasted any of the past six events held at this property will know we’re not scared to run events at this venue under extreme conditions. And we’d like nothing more than for the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud to go ahead on June 18-19. Unfortunately, conditions this time around have left no option but to reschedule the event to November 12-13 and give the property ample time to dry up.

YOUR OPTIONS…

As an existing Team, Pairs or Ironman entrant into the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud, you have two options:

  • Get your team captain to request the entry is transferred to the new November 12-13 date by clicking here (the benefit of which is that you’ll be assured of an entry); or
  • Get your team captain to request a team refund* by clicking here.
If this request is not made by 11.59pm on Sunday, June 12, the entry will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled date, November 12-13, at which time the standard refund policy takes effect.

* NOTE: Refunds will be processed within five (5) business days. Just bear in mind that, with most banks, it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account.

If you were lucky enough to score an entry into the seventh running of the Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud before it sold out, we’d hope you’d hang in there for the new November 12-13 date because this venue is a cracker. And ever since the first 8-Hour at this epic “Gunns Gully” property in 2015, each event’s custom-built 15km loop has treated riders to an intoxicating blend of gum-lined trails and undulating grasstrack, with 360-degree views that stretch for miles.
