2022 TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR AT MIVA STATION MOVES TO JULY 30-31
Great news! A revised date for the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Miva Station can now be confirmed: July 30-31, 2022.
So, what are your options as an existing Team, Pairs or Ironman entrant into the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Miva Station? You can either:
- Have your team captain request the entry is transferred to the new July 30-31 date by clicking here (the benefit of which is that you’ll be assured of an entry); or
- Have your team captain request a team refund* by clicking here. If this request is not made by Sunday, May 29, the entry will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled date, July 30-31 (at which time, the standard refund policy takes effect).
* NOTE: Refunds will be processed within five (5) business days. Just bear in mind that, with most banks, it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
In the wake of the event’s last-minute cancellation last weekend, we’re really thankful to the Miva Station landowners, track-build crew, officials and all other operation partners who have come together so quickly to confirm the revised date in July.
We sincerely hope a greater majority of you who scored a prized entry into the historic first ever running of the Transmoto 8-Hour at Miva Station will be able to make the July 30-31 date because the race loop on this 8000-acre private property (much of which is rolling grasstrack that borders the Mary River and huge sugar cane fields) has got to be seen to be believed!
WHAT ABOUT THE TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR AT CLARENCE VALLEY?
No doubt, some of you will have noticed that the rescheduled Miva Station date falls on the same July 30-31 weekend as the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Clarence Valley.
No, we don’t intend to run two events in two different states on the one weekend. Due to extensive flood damage to the NSW Northern Rivers region, the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Clarence Valley will be shifted to a date later in the year (most likely in late October) to give the event property time to recover. Stay tuned for an announcement about the rescheduled date for the Clarence Valley event.
