2021 TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR AT WANGARATTA: RESCHEDULED TO 2022

Due to the current and ongoing restrictions associated with the Covid-19 pandemic in Victoria, it’s with regret we announce that the Transmoto 8-Hour at Wangaratta (scheduled for November 6-7) won’t run in 2021, but the good news is that it has been rescheduled to September 24-25, 2022.

With the Victorian state government yet to reinstate outdoor events or mass-participation community sport as part of their Covid-19 Roadmap, plus the ongoing of state border closures and the restriction of travel within Victoria for a large number of participants, it’s simply not feasible to get this event away in 2021.

We can’t thank the Hamilton family enough for all their hard work on the venue to date, and for their understanding in allowing riders to shift their 2021 entry to the revised date in September next year, when we’ll finally get the opportunity to return to this epic property after the inaugural running of the event there in 2019.

We also need to thank the Wangaratta City Council events team for their ongoing enthusiasm and support, along with our valued event partners, suppliers and officials for their flexibility and commitment to the Transmoto Enduro Events this year and next.

When events do finally get underway again in Victoria and other parts of the country, we expect the demand to be very high. So, we sincerely hope teams and riders retain their entry for 2022, when we can all enjoy getting out for a ride and a few cold tins.

With the Wangaratta event’s date now confirmed for 2022, here are your options as an existing Team, Pairs or Ironman entry:

• 1) Do nothing and your 2021 entry will be automatically transferred (at no cost) to the rescheduled date of September 24-25, 2022.
  The benefit of this is that you’ll be assured of an entry, plus you can make any necessary team member changes before the 2022 event.

• 2.) Have your Team Captain transfer the entry to any other 2022 Transmoto Enduro Event here:

• 3.) Have your Team Captain request a refund* here:

  This includes a refund for the entry fee, and any One Event Competition Licence and/or Temporary Club Membership payments, where applicable.

IMPORTANT: All event transfers and refunds must be requested by Friday, October 22. After this date, you will automatically be entered into the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Wangaratta, and the General Refund Policy will apply.

* NOTE: Refunds will be processed within five working days. Keep in mind, that with most banks, it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account. Refunds can only be processed back to the credit/bank card used to enter the event.
