INTRODUCING: THE ALL-NEW TRANSMOTO 10-HOUR @ TUMUT
Crazy to be adding new events right now? Probably. All the same, we’re psyched to announce the addition of an all-new venue to this year’s event calendar: the Transmoto 10-Hour at Tumut, to be held on October 30-31, 2021. If Covid plays ball, this bad boy will be ready to rumble in late October. So, if you missed a spot in the last three sell-out events, jump on it as soon as the 2021 10-Hour launches*.
Tumut is situated in NSW’s Riverina region, with the event itself taking place just out of town on a picturesque 1200-acre private property that sits on the north-west foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Boasting huge tracts of bushland and grasstrack, commanding views and serious elevation changes, the place is an absolute riding paradise!
The all-new Transmoto 10-Hour at Tumut, powered by GASGAS, replaces the long-running and super-successful 12-Hour at Batemans Bay (originally slated for October 2-3). Unlike the 12-Hour (which was limited to Team of 4 entries), the 10-Hour at Tumut gives you the option of entering as a Team of 3 or Team of 4. Limited entries will also be available in both Ironman and Pairs classes.
After 10 memorable years at the 12-Hour’s Buckenbowra property, the time was right to find a new home for the toughest and most physically demanding event on Transmoto’s 2021 calendar. But our sincere thanks go out to all the partners and landowners who made the 12-Hour a bucket-list experience for so many over the past decade.
Conveniently, Tumut is just a two- or three-hour drive from Canberra, Albury-Wodonga, Cooma and Narrandera, and a little over four hours’ drive from Sydney. It’s an area renowned for its fly fishing and kayaking, its vineyards and breweries, and its scenic backroads and villages.
* Stay tuned for an announcement in the coming weeks about when entries for the Transmoto 10-Hour at Tumut will go on sale.
