The 2020 Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud, NSW, scheduled for the October 31 – November 1 weekend, will not be going ahead this year.
With the guidelines surrounding inter-regional travel for community sport being relaxed on September 26 – just three weeks prior to the event – the late notification simply left too little runway to secure all necessary permitting requirements to stage the event.
We are unwilling to push the event further back in the year due to the likelihood of dusty conditions, high fire risk, and hot temps making for a less than enjoyable riding experience.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our event partners, the landowners, participants, Mid-Coast Council, and the local community of Stroud for all their support and understanding over the past five years we’ve staged the event in the region. And we look forward to picking up where we left off on May 8-9 next year, when the 2021 Transmoto 8-Hour at Stroud is now scheduled to run.
In the meantime, a limited number of last-minute Pairs entries have become available for the Transmoto 8-Hour Coffs Harbour (October 17-18) (click here to enter), while entries for the 10th running of the Transmoto 12-Hour at Batemans Bay (November 14-15) are scheduled to go on sale from October 12.
