With the deepening Covid-19 crisis in Victoria and the ironclad travel restrictions associated with it, the 2020 Transmoto 8-Hour at Wangaratta has been postponed until later in the year.
Currently slated for September 12-13, the second annual running of the Transmoto 8-Hour at Wangaratta has now been tentatively rescheduled to November 14-15.
According to Mayor Dean Rees of the Rural City of Wangaratta, “We fully support the difficult decision for the Transmoto team to postpone their event. It was a fabulous event for our region last year, and we are looking forward to having them back as soon as it’s safe to do so.”
Our thoughts are with all those Victorians who are currently in lock-down and severely limited in terms of what they can do and where they can travel. From the Transmoto Events crew and all of our partners, all we can say is: try to focus your minds on the prospect of getting together down the track to ride Wangaratta’s epic terrain with expansive Victorian High Country vistas. Hopefully, that’s later this year.
