
After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision not to proceed with the Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut this year. Despite our best efforts, rider numbers have fallen well below the level required to make the event viable – for Transmoto and for its partners – and to deliver this 8-Hour to the standard that our entrants have come to expect.
While this year would have marked Transmoto’s fifth event at Tumut, participation has been negatively affected by a combination of factors – including several years of dry and dusty conditions, challenging seasonal weather from November to February, and broader cost-of-living pressures. And these factors have clearly suppressed riders’ appetite for this location and timing.
Entries currently sit below 150, whereas a minimum of more than twice those numbers is required for the event to be feasible.
So, for those who have already entered the 2026 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut, here are the options:
- Transfer your entry to any other 8-Hour event on Transmoto’s 2026 calendar; OR
- Request a no-questions-asked full refund.
YOUR TRANSFER / REFUND OPTIONS…
Here’s how to exercise your options as an existing Team, Pairs or Ironman entrant in the 2026 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut:
OPTION 1: TRANSFER
You can request your Tumut entry is transferred to one of the four remaining 8-Hour events on Transmoto’s 2026 Enduro Event calendar by clicking this link before midnight on Friday, April 10, 2026:
- Transmoto 8-Hour @ Miva Station, Qld (May 23-24)
- Transmoto 8-Hour @ Narrabri, NSW (June 20-21)
- Transmoto 8-Hour @ Venue TBC, NSW
- Transmoto 8-Hour @ Eskdale, Vic. (September 12-13)
The transfer will guarantee you an entry into the selected 8-Hour. If you need to make a rider(s) swap for the event your entry is transferred into, no problem. Just drop us a line at getus@transmoto.com.au and we’ll make the change(s).
OPTION 2: REFUND
Ironman entrants and Pairs/Team captains can request a full refund* by clicking this link before midnight on Friday, April 10, 2026:
* NOTE: Refund requests will be processed within five (5) business days. Just bear in mind that, with most banks, it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
