2022 TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR @ WANGARATTA
– ENTRIES ON SALE FROM AUG 5 –
We are stoked to announce that entries for the second running of the Transmoto 8-Hour at Wangaratta, Victoria (Sept 24-25), powered by KTM, will go on sale from August 5.
The picturesque 3000-acre private property that again plays host to the 8-Hour sits between Wangaratta and Bright and boasts a mouth-watering combo of bush trails, big hills and undulating grasstrack, with the Victorian High Country’s snow-capped peaks serving as an eye-catching backdrop. And all this just 250km northeast of Melbourne, where the confluence of the Ovens and King rivers creates prime riding conditions for much of the year. Seriously, is there a better way to celebrate the arrival of Spring?!
So, round up your mates, dust off your camping gear, get your bike and body and roadtrip plans in order, and clear your schedule for the Sept 24-25 weekend. With entries strictly capped at just 600 riders, we expect the event to sell out faster than ever – especially because 60% of the entries are already accounted for by those who transferred their entry from the rescheduled 2021 8-Hour at Wangaratta.
As always, Transmoto Tribe members and previous Transmoto event entrants will be offered a 48-hour and 24-hour priority entry into the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Wangaratta, respectively, but check out the full schedule of Wang’s on-sale dates below…

TEAM CATEGORIES
All Teams must enter under one of six ‘Team Categories’:
- Weekend Warriors (no rider to have ever raced professionally, no sponsor hook-ups or dealer support, paid your own entry fee);
- Young Guns (all riders under 23);
- Wise Wizards (average age of at least 50);
- Mixed (at least one female rider);
- Wonder Women (all female riders); or
- Open (general Team entry, if you’re not eligible for any of the above Categories).
Teams of 3 and Teams of 4 will be grouped together for the Class results, but entering in a relevant ‘Team Category’ will increase your team’s chances of taking home a trophy and/or prizes.
