2021 TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR AT YOUNG: SHIFTED TO NOVEMBER

Due to the crushing combo of multiple state border closures, widespread travel restrictions, and the recent extension of lockdowns in Regional NSW and Greater Sydney until the 10th and 30th of September, respectively, a majority of entrants in the 2021 Transmoto 8-Hour at Young (plus officials, event staff, sponsors and suppliers) will not be able to attend the event on September 18-19. As a result – and in the interests of public health and safety – we have rescheduled the event to the weekend of November 13-14, 2021.

The good news is that it’s a postponement (albeit the third one!), not a cancellation. And trust us; we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make this event a reality in November.

We understand this might be an inconvenience for some entrants. And with the fast-disappearing available dates later in the year, we’re aware this rescheduling may also create unavoidable clashes with other events (in which case entries will be eligible for a refund). All we ask is that you hang in there and join us in looking forward to the event’s revised November date, by which time (hopefully) relaxed restrictions will allow everyone to attend.

Here are your options as an existing Team, Pairs or Ironman entrant into the 2021 Transmoto 8-Hour at Young:

• 1.) Do nothing, and your entry will be automatically transferred (at no extra cost) to the rescheduled event on November 13-14 (the benefit of which is that you’ll be assured of an entry); or

• 2.) Have your team captain request (via email: getus@transmoto.com.au) the entry is transferred to another 2021 Transmoto Enduro Event by Sunday, September 12; or

• 3.) Have your team captain request (via email: getus@transmoto.com.au) an entry fee refund* (including One Event Competition Licence and/or Temporary Club Membership payments, where applicable) by Sunday, September 12. If this request is not made by September 12, the entry will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled event on November 13-14 (and the General Refund Policy will apply).

We hope a greater majority of you who scored a prized entry into the 2021 Transmoto 8-Hour at Young will be able to make the revised date in November because, believe us, getting to ride on this epic property in the NSW South West Slopes region will be well worth the wait!
