To coincide with the announcement of the on-sale dates for the 2025 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut (January 28 for Transmoto Tribe members, and January 30 for general entries), Transmoto will be offering everyone who raced the 2024 event at Tumut (that was red-flagged early) a half-price entry into the upcoming 2025 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut, NSW, to be held on April 12-13.
So, if you didn’t get the saddle-time you were hoping for in 2024, now’s your chance to give this epic location another crack. The 2025 event has been shifted from March to April to give ourselves the best chance of cooler weather and prime riding conditions. It has also been changed from a 10-Hour to an 8-Hour to make the event even more suited to a wider range of riding abilities.

FAQs…
How does the half-price entry work?
You simply enter the Tumut event as per normal and have your team captain (or yourself if you’re an Ironman) complete a 50% refund request form (we will post the link here when the entries go on sale). Our Customer Service team will then cross-check the rider names against the 2024 Tumut rider entry list, and refund the relevant amount onto the credit card used to pay for the 2025 Tumut entry. You will be sent a confirmation when this is complete.
When do I need to get my teammates sorted and complete the online entry for the 2025 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut?
To increase the likelihood of securing an entry in your preferred class (Ironman, Pairs, Team-of-3 or Team-of-4) we recommend entering immediately (entries go on sale from January 28 for Transmoto Tribe members, and January 30 for general entries). Entries will need to be submitted by 11:59pm on Sunday, April 6, at the latest (unless the event sells out before then). After that, the offer is no longer valid, and can not be transferred to any other event on the 2025 Transmoto Enduro Events calendar.
What stops other riders from chiming in on this discount?
We will cross-reference all rider names against the 2024 Tumut entry list, so only those who raced Tumut in 2024 will be refunded 50% of their 2025 entry fee.
Does this discount apply to all Teams, Pairs and Ironman riders who entered the 2024 10-Hour at Tumut?
Yes, everyone who rode Tumut in 2024 can take up the offer. You can enter any class you like in 2025 and the 50% discount will be applicable to your 2025 entry fee (you don’t have to enter the same class as 2024).
Do all the riders on the team entered into the 2025 Tumut 8-Hour need to be 2024 Tumut entrants?
No, it is possible to enter other riders on your team, but those riders will need to pay the usual entry fee, and will not be able to redeem the 50% discount.
Does the 50% discount include licences and other fees?
No, it only applies to the entry fee and does not include any One Event Competition Licences (OECL) required, or the one-off $20 transponder fee.
To help me do the math, what’s the entry fee for Team, Pairs and Ironman entries, and the cost per rider?
Here’s a summary of the entry fees for the 2025 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut (which are unchanged from last year):
- $1200 for a Team of 4 ($300/rider)
- $975 for a Team of 3 ($325/rider)
- $700 for Pairs ($350/rider)
- $400 for Ironman
What happens in the unlikely event that the 2025 Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut doesn’t go ahead or has its race cancelled?
