Got any questions about the 2026 calendar? This should answer them…

THE 12-HOUR IS BACK

In 2011, the Transmoto 12-Hour at Batemans Bay was where it all began for Transmoto’s events. Yep, it was home to the very first installment of these teams-based dirt bike endurance race, which went on to capture the hearts and minds of the Australian trail and enduro riding fraternity. This unique property played host to 10 consecutive annual 12-Hour events up till 2020. After a five-year hiatus, this bucket-list dozen hours of fun/torture will be returning to its original venue in the NSW South Coast’s picturesque hinterland.

Fancy an Ironman spot? There are only 20 available and we will be drawing the 20 names out of a hat before the 12-Hour’s entries open. We will release details of how to enter the Ironman ballot closer to the event. Get notified of event information by leaving your details here.

MACLEAY VALLEY IN MARCH?

The Transmoto 8-Hour was first staged at this unique venue in 2024. It was canned in June of 2025 due to the destructive floods in the Kempsey region. Hence, Macleay Valley coming out of the blocks in March as the first event on the 2026 calendar. And this 650-acre patch of fertile terra firma boasts some of the loamiest (and rock-free!) alluvial soil on Australia’s eastern seaboard.

WHERE’S THE TBA VENUE?

We can’t say just yet, but will be releasing this early in 2026 when everything is signed off with council and the landowners. We are tossing around a second venue in Queensland or Victoria. Let us know what you think.

TUMUT

We are moving back to the same pit/camping paddock as the first time we ran this event in 2022. With huge tracts of bushland and grasstrack and commanding views, this venue is an absolute riding paradise. What sets the notorious Tumut track apart is its serious elevation changes – almost 600m of ‘vertical drop’ in snowfield language – which makes sections of the loop the most technical and physically demanding of the 8-Hour events on this year’s calendar. That said, the new paddock has less of a gnarly downhill back to the pits.

ESKDALE – YES!

You spoke, we listened, and this unreal venue is back on the map for 2026. For those who got out and rode what was easily the best conditions we had in 2025 (apart from the last 15 minutes of rain!), you’ll be happy to know we are heading back to the High Country promised land in 2026. The good news is that it won’t clash with the Vic Off Road series this year, so all Victorian riders get in early on this one because it will sell out.

WHAT ABOUT LADIES & JUNIORS?

Great question. There’ll be a recreational loop for the Ladies (16+) and Juniors (9-15) on Saturday afternoon at these four events in 2026:

  • Macleay Valley (NSW)
  • Miva Station (Qld)
  • Narrabri (NSW)
  • Eskdale (Vic.)
