MIVA: NEW VENUE REVEALED FOR TRANSMOTO 8-HOUR IN QLD

Hanging to get out for a weekend riding bikes in Qld? Well, speed-dial your riding crew, because we’re chuffed to announce an all-new venue for 2022: Miva Station, which will host the Transmoto 8-Hour on May 14-15. Entries for this cracking new event will open on March 11.

Founded in 1861 by the current landowner’s ancestors, Miva Station is an 8000-acre private property that sits on the intersection of Queensland’s Gympie and Fraser Coast regions, and boasts a mouth-watering combo of tree-lined singletrail, undulating grasstrack, sections of black riverbed sand, and flowing bush tracks.

This picturesque venue – a cattle and sugarcane farm that’s bordered by Wide Bay Creek and the Mary River, and was home to a round of the Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) back in 2017 – is just 35 minutes’ drive from the township of Gympie and 90 minutes from the Sunshine Coast, and still conveniently close to Brisbane, Gold Coast, and a host of southeast Queensland and NSW Northern Rivers’ towns.

And as the only Queensland-based event on Transmoto’s 2022 enduro event calendar, you won’t want to miss it.

Entries for this first ever running of the Transmoto 8-Hour at Miva Station, powered by Husqvarna, will go on sale from March 11.

As always, Transmoto Tribe members and previous Transmoto event entrants will be offered a 48-hour and 24-hour priority entry into the 2022 Transmoto 8-Hour at Miva Station, respectively, but check out the full schedule of Miva’s on-sale dates below.
